Developed for workforce development & career services professionals
This three-part training series will equip career practitioners with innovative tools, interactive resources, and proven strategies they can use to empower their clients to secure quality, family-sustaining opportunities.
When working with clients from underserved and underestimated backgrounds, workforce practitioners have options regarding how we approach them. This three-part training series will equip career counselors and workforce development staff to advocate for and empower their clients. Attendees will learn about exploratory exercises, digital resources, and motivational methods they can use to help their clients land competitive, family-sustaining opportunities.
Developed for all types of career services professionals, including public workforce agency counselors, college career center staff, and private practitioners, each attendee will come away with increased knowledge and confidence to transform the professional lives - and earning potential - of the job seekers they serve.

I met Andrea when she conducted a series of sessions to train job developers on how to review resumes and creatively utilize transferable skills. using keywords and how to demonstrate measurable success.
Many were skeptical, as it is easy to assume there isn't much to learn about resumes and cover letters from someone who is an "outsider." To everyone's surprise, Andrea made the sessions informative, engaging and fun. I walked away with a renewed sense of inspiration and awe for the art of resume writing! Since then, apart from informing my work at the time, the skills Andrea helped enhance have certainly helped me in my own career growth. I have also tried to move it forward and regularly provide feedback and moral support to colleagues on their own job applications. I wish Andrea tall the best on her incredible entrepreneurial journey, and recommend her without any reservation!
Andrea Gerson's resume workshop is fantastic. She conveys an armload of great tips and best practices in a direct, easy-to-implement, and fun way--helping job-seekers avoid the pitfalls that can keep top-notch workers from rising above the pack. Some of her best advice is around quantifying one's accomplishments; choosing the right resume design for the industry; and using active, consistent grammar throughout. I highly recommend it!
